TOTALROCK CONFIRMS MEDIA PARTNERSHIP WITH ‘ROCKIN THE BOWL’ FESTIVAL
Legendary multi-platform rock media outfit TotalRock has confirmed a new media partnership with Sheffield rock festival Rockin The Bowl for its 2021 event.
The festival, now its second year, takes place at Don Valley, Sheffield from 10 – 12 September.
Headlined by German metal legend Doro, UK chart botherers Massive Wagons and classic rockers Cats In Space, the event features three days of bands with an awesome supporting cast of over 30 bands across two stages that includes Gin Annie, Bad Touch, Hollowstar, SKAM, Collateral, Sons of Liberty, Hell’s Addiction, Empyre, Florence Black, Joanovarc, Liberty Lies and many more.
The inaugural Rockin The Bowl event in 2019, headlined by The Wildhearts, Rockin The Bowl, the new festival was the first rock event to play Don Valley since 1993 when Def Leppard, Thunder, Ugly Kid Joe and Terrorvision played to over 40 000 people at the now demolished Don Valley Stadium. Over 25 years later, rock is back in the Don Valley – not at the stadium but at the Bowl, a smaller capacity grass bowl that became home to the very first Rockin the Bowl full day event. With the 2020 event called off due to the pandemic, interest and demand for the event has grown and 2021 is now a three day event that promises to be a weekend to remember, with bands already confirmed for 2022.
TotalRock and Rockin The Bowl both share a similar a passion for both classic bands and hot new acts, an official partnership was inevitable. A match Forged In Fire AND Set In Steel!
TotalRock’s coverage will feature across its various platforms from its much-loved radio station to its Twitch, TikTok and Youtube channels.
