Written by Johnson Stephen on October 3, 2019
‘Cancer On The Rocks’ is a two day music festival and is a benefit fundraiser held in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. The festival will be held in London at Bush Hall, 310 Uxbridge Road, Shepherds Bush, London, W12 7LJ and the dates for the festival are Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November 2019.
The brainchild behind ‘Cancer On The Rocks’ is Skyfire Records supremo, Rick Palin, and he explains the reason behind the festival ”We’ve all lost people we know to Cancer and Macmillan Cancer Support do an incredible job, as I know first-hand from the support they gave my own family. I wanted to give something back, but ‘Cancer On The Rocks’ is not just about fundraising, it is about celebrating ‘Life’ too, and what better medium to celebrate ‘Life’, than with music.”
The confirmed Line Up for the first night of the Festival is Headliners Romeo’s Daughter with support from Collateral, Weapon UK, Gypsy’s Kiss and Blurred Vision.
The Confirmed Line Up for the second night of the Festival is Headliners Rick Parfitt Jr with support from Piston, Joan Of Arc, Superfecta, Jessie Galante, Willie Bo Walker, Asif Outlaws, Lol Goodman and Found Missing.
MC duties will be performed by Radio DJ Darren Reddick
