TotalRock is looking for someone to take over the News Section of www.totalrock.com.
This position would suit someone with an interest in rock & metal journalism having time on their hands or someone wishing to build up a body of work and experience and make connections in the rock & metal world.
POSITION: News Editor
TIME COMMITMENT: around 2 hours a day.
TASKS: To select the most interesting rock & metal news Press Releases and post them in an engaging form on the TotalRock website.
To develop your own journalistic skills, discovering and following up your own stories.
SALARY: N/A. TotalRock is run by volunteers.
REWARDS: As part of the TotalRock team, you’ll be connected to the heart of the rock & metal industry, with access to some of the many shows & events in your area, while developing and showcasing your skills on one of the UKs best known rock & metal brands.
SOFTWARE: Familiarity with WordPress and Photoshop or similar would be useful.
