VENOM TO RELEASE BOX SET

Venom are to put out a deluxe vinyl 40th anniversary box set on May 31 through BMG.
Titled ‘In Nomine Satanus’, this celebrates their years on Neat Records. It will have four LPs, two double albums, a shaped picture disc of the ‘Bloodlust’ single, a book with new interviews done by Dom Lawson, a poster, a reproduction of the ‘Seven Dates Of Hell’ tour programme and back patch.
One of the double albums, ‘Sons Of Satan’, has unreleased demos, including recordings done in 1979 with original singer Clive ‘Jesus Christ’ Archer.
The first 300 copies ordered from the official store will come with an art card signed by Cronos.
In addition to this release, there’s also to be a 22 track double vinyl compilation called ‘In Nomine Satanas – The Neat Anthology, which will come pressed on splatter vinyl, plus rare photos and memorabilia from the band members’ personal collections, plus interviews.
There will also a 43 track double CD version that will include two unreleased tracks.
