SLAM DUNK ‘24 WILL BE YOU ME AT SIX’S FINAL UK FESTIVAL APPEARANCE

The UK’s biggest independent rock festival will be the very last festival in the country for fans to come and soak up one last dose of You Me At Six before they part ways.

As the news recently dropped that You Me At Six are set to split, Slam Dunk can offer a glimmer of good news as it confirms that it will be the band’s final UK festival appearance as they headline this summer.
What’s more, Slam Dunk Festival today reveals the final additions to this year’s huge line-up, as six more bands join the must-see bill.

Adding to the excitement from across the pond is renowned American rock band, The Dangerous Summer. Slam Dunk is the only place to see the band live this summer. Leeds’ very own Caskets, known for their intense metalcore sound, are set to ignite the stage once again at Slam Dunk. Also joining the lineup is Brit metal band As Everything Unfolds. After an incredibly successful release of their second album, ‘Ultraviolet’ the band will make their Slam Dunk debut after rounding off their UK tour in March. Hailed as ‘the new generation of Manchester hardcore’ Guilt Trip are known for pushing limits with their hardcore sound. The band aim to stand out from the scene, embracing that in their hit single ‘Sweet Dreams’. The Canadian emo, pop-punk quartet, Arm’s Length also join this year’s bill making their debut at the festival. Formed in 2019 they gained overnight success on TikTok, releasing their studio album ‘Never before Seen, Never Found Again’.  There’s another Leeds band to join a long list of successors at Slam Dunk – Beauty School. The 5-piece band fuse a ‘diverse pool of influence to make eloquent emo-infused alt rock’.

This announcement completes the stratospheric Slam Dunk line up for this May, alongside the likes of The All American Rejects, I Prevail, Funeral For A Friend, The Interrupters, Waterparks, State Champs, Asking Alexandria, The Wonder Years, Mallory Knox and more. Find the line-up in full here.

Slam Dunk Festival comes to Hatfield Park on Saturday 25th May, before heading back to its home in Leeds, Temple Newsam on Sunday 26th May 2024. Tickets are available now via www.slamdunkfestival.com.
